Medievalisms II

The old town here in Porto belongs to the World Heritage... From here down to the river bank called Ribeira it's only some mins walk.

Ribeira is now the meeting spot for the youth and almost every day it is where Porto gets more crowded when dusk comes. Otherwise the city centre is a lonely area and even dangerous for those who are more daring and want to stroll along the pedestrian zone after the rush hour in the evening...

These narrow streets are the attraction for the newcomers, for those who have decided to stay in Porto for some time and want to discover the town history by themselves. And talking about town history... a famous old shop can be seen on the left - Casa Louro - . Everybody knows it in Porto. It's the right place to buy good smoked ham and where you can have a smoked ham sandwich and drink a glass of good wine. Posted by Hello
