Ai flores, ai flores do verde pinho
se sabedes novas do meu amigo,
ai deus, e u é?
Ai flores, ai flores do verde ramo,

I don't think this can be translated.
The above poem is said to have been written by one of our first Kings - D. Dinis , The Poet King, in the Middle Ages.
The maiden is asking the flowers of the green pine-trees about her loved one who made love promises but who is not to be seen. She asks the flowers of the green pine trees if they have seen him because she misses him and doesn't know where he is.
