"In Memoriam"
Em Vida é-se, porque sim ou porque não.
Em Morte passa-se a ser o que não acharam que se foi.
Parece ser um exorcizar do nosso próprio fim.
É-se benevolente com quem se criticou em vida.
Criam-se heróis e vêem-se valores, heroísmos em quem se deitou abaixo.
Ou lançam-se epítetos de insultuosa vigança em desvarios inusitados sobre quem já não os pode ouvir.
A Morte arrastou consigo três figuras que,em Portugal, queira-se ou não, marcaram uma época e fizeram História.
A História não é só feita de feitos épicos. Tem lados sombrios que nem por isso se apagam da História.
Sem falsos sentires ou exacerbado sentimentalismo
que

possam descansar em Paz onde quer que estiverem
e que
a História lhes faça o jus que merecem.

When alive we are what we are because we are or because we are not.
After dying we are said to be what we never were.
These attitudes look like the exorcism of our own end.
We become benevolent towards those we criticised when alive.
We create heroes and values that never were. We see heroic deeds that never existed.
Or we shout insulting revenge words in an insane attitude towards those who can't here them any longer.
Death put an end to the lives of three personalities who, want it or not influenced an era and are already part of History.
History isn't only made up with epic moments. It's also got its dark sides which will never disappear.
Being so and with no fake feeling or exacerbated sentimentality
